LeBron James’ Enduring ‘Love at First Sight’ Story Spans Two Decades

A brilliant career and a two-decade love affair make fans admire the king LeBron James even more.

“He’s romantic and sweet but also fierce and manly when needed.” Those are the words Savannah James has for her fiancé LeBron James. They’ve been together for nearly two decades and the sweetness shows no signs of stopping.

In the fall of 2002, LeBron James was a basketball superstar at Mary High School in Ohio, while Savannah Brinson was playing softball. During a basketball game between the two high schools, LeBron was impressed the first time he saw Savannah, who was a cheerleader for the rival school.

Surprisingly, what LeBron James did when he was struck by love was to convince Savannah to switch to basketball. “He got my phone number so he could coach me on basketball.

It was just an excuse because he asked me to meet him at a steak restaurant. During the first meeting he just looked at me and didn’t eat anything. Sometimes he would think of something, probably the next reason to ask me out.” Savannah recalled with a big smile.

LeBron James is clearly a competitive and very fierce person. It didn’t take long for the high school boy that year to win over the girl from the next school, LeBron and Savannah quickly became the most beautiful couple in school at that time.

A year later, LeBron James became the first pick in the 2003 NBA Draft, surprising his girlfriend: “I just thought he was the best player in the state, not the whole country.” Pride and happiness surrounded Savannah until the incident happened.

During LeBron’s rookie season, he suddenly received news from his girlfriend that the pregnancy test showed two lines. Savannah was worried that both families would go crazy when they found out, they were too young and this could affect LeBron’s career.

“I cried every night, we argued a lot, I was scared, I wasn’t brave enough to be a mother, we were too young,” The King’s wife recalled. Instead of comforting his girlfriend, LeBron James chose a different, very manly and responsible way: “What will come will come, let’s do what we have to do, don’t worry!”

And then on October 6, 2004, at the age of 21, LeBron James officially welcomed his first son Bronny. It was also a difficult time for him, with a wife and young child on one side and a budding career on the other. However, LeBron handled everything very simply with the motto: Basketball and Family.

Nearly 2 decades later, LeBron James is increasingly happy with his love at first sight.

LeBron James spends all his time outside of basketball with Savannah and his little son. He understands that money is no longer an issue, it is caring, understanding and taking care of his son together, that is the best way to make his girlfriend happy.

LeBron James’ career was still going strong until the summer of 2010 when he decided to move to Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers fans protested fiercely, they burned jerseys, protested and insulted LeBron. And when it was most difficult, Savannah was still there to motivate the father of two sons: “I cried on his shoulder and LeBron didn’t say anything, he just held my hand. And as you can see, he kept moving forward.”

The decision to move to the Miami Heat was a turning point in LeBron James’ career, leaving behind the insults The King brought 2 championships to the Florida team. But not only did LeBron take a big step forward in his illustrious career, he also decided on another important move.

At an outdoor party in France, LeBron James proposed to his girlfriend of 10 years in the most romantic way. 2 years later, on September 14, 2013, the two held their wedding ceremony in San Diego, California, witnessed by 200 guests, mostly football players. The most special thing was the performance of Crazy In Love by female singer Beyonce and Jay-Z.

From Cleveland to Miami and now Los Angeles, from a high school student to a top NBA star, LeBron James has always been with Savannah. Not only has he had a brilliant career, but The King’s two-decade relationship has also made many people jealous.
