Travis Kelce joked about having children and shared a reason he might want to become a father amid his romance with girlfriend Taylor Swift.
During an episode of Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, guest Ryan Fitzpatrick told Travis, 35, that fatherhood made him “wiser.”
“Is that what happens when you have kids? You get smarter?” Travis asked Ryan, 41. “Man, that’s all I had to do to become brilliant?”
Ryan then responded, “Just have a baby.” It seems like Travis’ fans also want him to become a dad, and the crowd burst into cheers.

After the clip was uploaded via TikTok on Wednesday, November 20, several fans rushed to the comments section to urge Travis to have kids with Taylor, 34. Meanwhile, others pointed out that Travis seemingly “blushed” at the suggestion.
“Not beating the baby fever,” one person commented. Another added, “Babies again on Travis’ mind.”
Travis – who has been dating the “Enchanted” singer since the summer of 2023 – has been open about wanting kids in the past.
During a March episode of his “New Heights” podcast, Travis hinted that he “can’t wait” to have kids of his own.
One month later, he revealed a name idea for one of his future kids. “I might name my first kid Conan,” Travis told brother Jason Kelce during an April episode of their podcast, explaining that the theoretical child would be named after Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 1982 film Conan the Barbarian.
After he made the comment on the April podcast episode, an insider exclusively told Life & Style that Travis would like to start a family with Taylor sooner rather than later. “Travis is eager to speed up their relationship timeline,” the source revealed. “He wants to marry Taylor right away and start a family as soon as she’s ready. Travis has been so broody that he’s told Taylor he’s open to having kids before a wedding!”
“His fatherly instincts kick in whenever he spends time with his three young nieces,” the insider continued, referencing Jason’s three daughters with wife Kylie Kelce. “Travis is going to be an amazing dad.”
The source said that Taylor “knows starting a family is huge for Travis,” which is “one of the things she loves about him.”
“Taylor and Travis have definitely talked about how cute their babies would be,” the insider added at the time. “They’re still not officially engaged, but they both have babies on the brain.”
Two months earlier, an additional source told Life & Style that “Taylor’s got marriage and kids on the brain.” The source continued, “One of Travis’ biggest attractions is that he’s so family-oriented. She’s 34 and the clock is ticking.”
More recently, a third insider exclusively told Life & Style that the “Cruel Summer” singer believes “she’s had the best year of her life” amid her romance with the Kansas City Chiefs athlete. “Her relationship with Travis has strengthened so many parts of her and made her more confident and fearless,” the source said in a story published on November 13. “Finding a love like this has changed Taylor.”
