Now that his off-season has officially begun, the point guard for the Golden State Warriors is sharing with the world a peek of his life away from the court.Since the beginning of his formal off-season, Stephen Curry has been sharing with the public a glimpse of his life off the court.
The point guard for the Golden State Warriors, whose club was ousted from the playoffs on May 12, honored his wife Ayesha Curry with a post on Thursday. The couple has been married for 12 years.
Stephen, 35, posted a series of Instagram photos with his partner with the description, “Life with my Ish lately…”
In one black-and-white photo, the couple looked stylish while out and seemed to be in the middle of something. The two were pictured in the next picture playing golf under bright blue sky and full sun, sporting a preppy casual look.
Stephen shared a cute picture of his wife and three children having dinner with them, in between other eye-catching images of Ayesha looking stylish on a boat and sipping from a red Solo cup. The five-member family looked to be dining at a Hibachi restaurant, when the youngest member of the duo, Canon, showed off his chopstick talents to his mother.
When Steph and Ayesha were youngsters in North Carolina, they first met at church. The couple wed in June 2011 and had Riley, a daughter, as their first child a year later. With the arrival of their second daughter, Ryan, in 2015 and Canon in 2018, their family saw further growth.
Ayesha talked about her experience as a young first-time mother in May 2021. She described how challenging it was to balance her profession while taking care of her kids.
During an episode of Skimm’d From The Couch, the TV personality stated, “What I started to realize was I was becoming this woman at such a young age when other people would still potentially be in college or just figuring out who they want to be.”
Even though Ayesha “thoroughly enjoyed being a mom,” she still hoped to accomplish more, she continued. After starting a recipe blog, the young mother eventually discovered her calling in life. Her empire has since expanded to encompass numerous restaurants, cookbooks, and even a television show. Ayesha’s children are already following in her footsteps; in the past, she revealed that her daughter Riley possesses “insаne” culinary skills.
Stephen, a nine-time NBA All-Star, has demonstrated a mastery of balancing his demanding career with parenthood, despite his admission that his children aren’t very pleased with his basketball prowess. “You’re just Dad at home, and that’s the best part about it,” he said, explaining that he didn’t believe it mattered too much how many times the ball went in the hoop.
Still, Steph finds time for his kids despite his time on the court. The NBA player approached Riley in the crowd last month following his team’s victory over the Sacramento Kings. The two have a long-standing custom of shaking hands, which they came up with together.
Regarding Ayesha and her feelings for Steph, the contented mother and wife expressed her feelings in March on her husband’s 35th birthday.
She included a number of photos of the athlete from over the years, including one of him at the White House, in an Instagram post on March 14.
“To my darling, happy birthday! Thirty-five circles the sun! Whoa!” Ayesha started. “You have an unequaled soul, but I still adore everything about you. I’m confident that this year will be the best yet.”
