“Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez Have Tense Meeting At Beverly Hills Hotel After Divorce”

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were seen together for the first time since filing for a divorce, engaging in what appeared to be a tense conversation at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday. 

The 53-year-old Batman actor leaned in closely to speak to the Maid in Manhattan star, 55, while gesturing with his arms.

Later, as they sat in their car, Jennifer seemed to wipe away tears.

The exchange took place in front of Ben’s kids with ex-wife Jennifer Garner—Finn, 15, and Samuel, 12—and Jennifer’s 16-year-old twins, Emme and Max, with ex-husband Marc Anthony. Ben also shares Violet, 18, with Garner.

The meeting comes after Ben was spotted planting a kiss on BFF Matt Damon’s wife Luciana – days after Damon was seen holding Jennifer’s hand.

The actress exuded movie star glamour in a chic black cropped sweater and skintight flared denim as she walked alongside Ben at the famous hotel.

Her sandy blonde hair fell in loose waves, perfectly framing her flawless face, which was enhanced by a pair of vintage glasses.

Jennifer wore her engagement ring from Ben on her pinky finger, along with a gold ‘Jennifer’ band on her wedding finger.

Amid the separation rumors, Ben was occasionally seen without his wedding band, while Jennifer was sometimes spotted wearing hers, adding to the speculation.

Ben, meanwhile, kept it casual in a blue shirt and matching denim, completing his look with his signature Nike high-tops.

The reunion also comes after Jen made a stop at her estranged husband’s favorite fast food spot in Los Angeles on Monday.

The superstar appeared ready to indulge in a cheat meal as she was seen in the drive-thru of a local Jack in the Box.

Although Jennifer and Ben  officially split last month, her fast-food outing seemed inspired by Ben’s recent string of food deliveries to his new bachelor pad.

Fast food had been a staple in JLo and Ben’s relationship, with the couple famously visiting McDonald’s three days in a row during their second attempt at romance last year.

And the Batman actor’s connection to Jack in the Box runs deep.

In August 2018, he made headlines when his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, drove him through the fast food chain’s drive-thru before taking him to rehab for the third time.

Just days earlier, Ben was seen at another Jack in the Box in Santa Monica, accompanied by Playboy model and former girlfriend Shauna Sexton.

JLo’s fast food pit stop comes after she and Damon, 53, sparked attention when they were seen holding hands during a private moment at the Toronto International Film Festival on Friday night.

The Jenny from the Block singer and the Bourne Identity actor appeared deep in conversation, with their heads close together in what was described as a serious, 20-minute exchange.

Reports suggest that Lopez was eager to discuss her estranged husband with Damon in the aftermath of their split, but sources claim the actor wasn’t interested in the topic.

‘Matt Damon shut down any attempt that JLo made to discuss Ben at the premiere,’ an insider told DailyMail.com exclusively.

‘It was her timing that was so awkward because she would have known that pulling Matt aside at the event to have an intimate talk was going to get picked up and go viral.’

The source continued: ‘Her whole hand on his hand was a nice touch – but he was not having any of it.

‘He told her he is glad she is doing well and is thankful for her participation in the film – but he made it clear he was not there to talk about Ben at all.’

Jennifer and Ben legally separated April 26, with the actress then filing for divorce in LA County Superior Court on August 20, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’.

On the heels of the filing, Ben was speculated to be dating RFK Jr.’s daughter, Kick Kennedy, after they were spotted out together in Los Angeles on various outings.

However, Ben’s representative firmly denied the reports.

Meanwhile, the exes are having trouble selling their $68 million marital home.

In May 2023, the couple purchased the Beverly Hills mansion for $60.8 million, but by July 2024, they had put it on the market — just a month before Lopez filed for divorce.

Crestview Manor includes a 38,000 square foot, 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom main house as well as a 5,000 square foot guest penthouse, plus a two-bedroom guardhouse, a caretaker house and a 12-car garage.

Amenities include a bar, a home gym, a sports lounge, a bar, a boxing ring, basketball and pickleball courts and parking for 80 vehicles.

The actor has since acquired a new bachelor pad for himself, costing $20.5 million.

He closed escrow on the five-bedroom, six-bathroom Brentwood mansion on July 24, which was also Jennifer’s birthday.

And Jen was seen touring two exquisite properties in Beverly Hills this week.

In her divorce filing, Lopez, who listed their separation date as April 26, 2024, wrote that their assets were ‘unknown.’

According to California state law, only the income and assets they earned during their short-lived marriage are ‘considered community property and subject to division.’

Jennifer and Ben originally met on the LA set of Martin Brest’s box office bomb Gigli in 2001, but abruptly split just three days before their wedding in 2004.

They both moved on to marry others after their initial breakup, with Jennifer tying the knot with Anthony in 2004 and Ben marrying Garner in 2005.

However, after the end of both marriages, the two rekindled their romance in 2021. They first exchanged vows in a low-key Las Vegas chapel ceremony in July 2022, followed by a grander celebration at Ben’s estate in Georgia the next month.
