Sydney Sweeney recently posted a carousel of pictures from her sea trip on Instagram. It got a lot of attention, even seemed to have trapped Tennessee Titans star DeAndre Hopkins.
The Titans’ wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins left a flirty comment on Sydney Sweeny’s post that caught light by the fans. Although he later deleted the comment, it wasn’t before the fans gathered proof. Sweeney wore a snug black and white wetsuit in the pictures. She captioned the post contemplating that this was what they called a thirst trap. Consider Hopkins trapped after he liked and left a funny comment on the post.
He typed in, “Trapped“.
Sweeney paused her hot girl summer season to quickly make a post on the gram that hit 4 million likes and nearly 30,000 comments. If the post itself did not turn peoples’ heads, Hopkins’ comment surely did the job. Sweeney became an internet sensation over the past couple of years after her breakout roles on hit HBO show, ‘Euphoria‘.
Outside the post, in their lives, Sweeney was busy preparing for her upcoming projects. On the other hand, Hopkins was busy recovering from his knee injury that he sustained during practice. It may cost him a few weeks and the Titans might have to make their gameplay without the star wide receiver.
Sydney Sweeney set to enter the boxing ring
Sydney Sweeney is much in demand, having played versatile roles in the past. In her upcoming project, she is all set to portray boxer Christy Martin in a new biopic. The project will chart the true story of Martin’s rise to become America’s most well-known female boxer.
In an interview with the Deadline, Sydney Sweeney revealed that she did kickboxing from 12-19 years old. While she was already itching to get back in the ring, this project allowed her to do just that.
She further spoke about the project in a great display of enthusiasm about having to transform her body. Sweeney realized the gravity of the story being physically and emotionally demanding.
Good thing she loved challenging herself. Sweeney was all ready with her assignment done, and more with the history and sincerity of the story. Sweeney has outrightly spoken about her interest and passion for the combat sports world, making her the perfect fit to narrate the story.
